Why would you want to leave the city?

Take a break: There are those moments, when the hum-drum of the city just gets too much. You feel like you want to gain the lost touch with reality, you want to pause, reflect back on what's important and what's not. You want to read a book, listen to your favorite music, or just stare out of the window into the forest or the river.

Be close to the nature: You want to see the star-lit sky in the evening not ruined by the light of the city. You want to walk out of the door and pick up mushrooms and fresh forest berries. Wade in the river and drink fresh water from the spring. You want to be close to the nature in the silence, be remote but not out of touch, have the pleasure and tranquility of being lost in the nature, without having to give up your comfort.

Back to the roots: You want to get a glimpse of traditional wooden chalet, without having to give up comfort. You can start the fire in the fireplace or an outdoor bonfire, chop the wood, but you can also have us start the heating remotely via mobile phone for you to have the house ready and warm. We follow the mantra that "you can, but you don't have to." You can turn off the electricity and experience the silence and dimmed light of the fire place. You can cook your food on the fire-powered stove, or use the electric one. You can experience the pleasure of the radiant heat from the ceramic fireplace, or you can just enjoy the heat automatically assured by an electric boiler and heater. You can keep your food in the traditional underground cellar, and cool your drinks in the river, but you are free to use the fridge. Whatever your preferences, you can just relax and enjoy the comfort. Or chop the wood and run around the house in the forest, while your significant other kicks off their shoes and rocks in the rocking chair.

Digital detox: The place is comfortable, but not intrusive, you can always receive sms, if you step out of the house you'll be able to make and receive phone calls with majority of handsets, with few handsets you can also make calls from inside. You are not likely to be able to use mobile internet, but why would you anyways? Your great photos and videos can wait until you are back in the city to post on the social media.
